I'm Kristy.

I create images for food brands. Originally from South Africa, I began as a food stylist before venturing into directing when I discovered I wanted to do more than simply arranging plates. I studied film at the University of Cape Town along with English Literature, two faculties that often influence my approach to food films. With a keen eye for the playful side of food communications, I blend quirky art direction with bold block colours and unexpected angles. I've had the pleasure of working with major brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, Knorr and Tropicana.
